The founding session of The AI Club brought together four business leaders to define the purpose, principles and format of the Club.
Why create the AI Club?
The starting point was simple: AI is becoming strategic for most companies, yet many events remain dominated by vendors, technology demonstrations and marketing claims.
The ambition was therefore to create a trusted environment where business leaders could openly share real AI experiences, measurable results, failures and lessons learned.
Founding principles
The participants established a few simple principles:
- No sales pitches
- Real business cases and measurable outcomes
- Open discussion of successes and failures
- Confidentiality and trust
- Small, executive-level audience
- Business value before technology
From technology to business value
A central conclusion of the discussion was that successful AI initiatives should be business-led rather than technology-led.
The key questions are simple: Which problem are we solving? How will success be measured? How quickly can value be demonstrated?
The group unanimously agreed to launch The AI Club based on these principles.
Pragmatic. Confidential. Peer-to-peer. Focused on business value rather than technology hype.
