AI: Between Promise and Reality

AI: Between Promise and Reality

Artificial Intelligence is everywhere in corporate discussions. But between the announcements, the expectations and what is actually happening inside companies, some fundamental questions remain.

Is technology really the main obstacle to AI adoption — or is the challenge primarily human and organisational?

Who is shaping the AI landscape today: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google — and what does each ecosystem mean for companies?

Are we entering a two-speed AI world, between sovereignty and cost on one side, and autonomous agents on the other?

How mature are autonomous AI agents today — and how far are we really from meaningful automation?

Why is there still such a wide gap between massive AI announcements and deployment on the ground?

Can AI genuinely reduce bureaucracy and free people to focus on higher-value work?

Will our roles progressively move from operator to strategist?

And ultimately, what should humans spend more time doing: executing — or creating, negotiating, innovating and deciding?

These are some of the questions explored in my keynote “AI: Between Promise and Reality.”

The topic has already led to three keynote speaking engagements, bringing together executives and operational leaders looking for a pragmatic discussion about what AI can — and cannot yet — deliver.
