Multi-agent AI revolutionising procurement.
Another highlight of last week’s AI France Club event at GROHE France HQ in La Défense was the presentation by Laurent Le Mao on a multi-agent AI system developed for the Purchasing organisation of a global Energy company.
This agentic AI solution goes far beyond simple automation. It manages a significant part of the procurement cycle, including:
✅ Tender generation
✅ Supplier outreach and communication
✅ Response collection and management
✅ Bid evaluation and scoring
✅ Quantification of potential cost optimisation
Particularly impressive was the embedded self-audit capability, enabling the system to continuously review and validate its own outputs, strengthening reliability and governance.
This is a powerful example of how multi-agent systems are moving from experimentation to real business value, supporting procurement teams in making faster, more informed, and more cost-effective decisions.
Why I am posting on this topic ? I contributed to the creation of the AI France Club because I am convinced that AI creates the most value when business leaders learn from one another’s real-world experiences. This conviction also fuels my search for an SMB to acquire, where I can combine entrepreneurship and transformation expertise to help build a more efficient, future-ready organisation.
